Monday – October 23, 2017

  • 1:00 pm Tour of Shiloh National Military Park
    • Established in 1894 to preserve the scene of the first major battle in the Western theater of the Civil War, Shiloh is considered one of the best-preserved battlefields in the Nation. Besides preserving the site of the bloody April 1862 battle in Tennessee, the park features Native American Mounds, a National Cemetery, historic lanes lined with cannons, monuments and split-rail fences along the banks of the Tennessee River. Guests will view the Shiloh movie “The Fiery Trial” and enjoy a ranger guided monument tour of the park. Bus transportation provided.
  • 4:00 pm Return to Pickwick Landing State Park
  • 6:00 pm Reception and Farm to Table Dinner at Wayne Jerrolds River Park
